You will cross Vietnam from North to South, visiting the countries most amazing sites, before jetting off to Indonesia's jewel - the paradise island of Bali.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrive in Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam !
Upon your arrival a driver will escort you to your hotel. Today you will have time to relax and recharge your batteries after a long flight. In the evening, we will prepare a welcome dinner.

Day 2 : Getting to know Hanoi
Breakfast/Lunch
Today you will be taken on a city tour, where you will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of Vietnam's great Father (closed on Monday and Friday afternoons. We visit outside only during closed times). You will also see President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house – where Uncle Ho lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. Then you will visit The Ho Chi Minh museum where you will learn what he did for Viet Nam and other South-east Asian countries. The next stop is the One Pillar Pagoda which is a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature, the first college of Viet Nam dedicated to Confucianism.
In the afternoon, you will get to visit the Ethnology museum, Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake), Ngoc Son Temple and take a cyclo ride around the narrow streets of Hanoi's historic Old Quarter. A tour that will show you the more picturesque side of Hanoi.

Day 3 : Hanoi-Halong Bay

After breakfast, at approximately 8:00am, the bus will be waiting to take you from Hanoi to Halong Bay (4hrs trip). You will get to visit Halong Bay and spend the night in a traditional Junk boat surrounded by the sheer beauty of this magical place.
At around 13.00 h we will embark on a cruise with a warm welcoming. After lunch you will visit Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave, and a fishing village where you can see how Vietnamese fishermen and their families really live. In the late afternoon you will have the chance to go and explore Halong Bay by kayak, enjoy a nice swim and have a 15-minute foot massage or a cooking demonstration of Vietnamese cuisine.  Dinner will be served at approx. 19.00h.

Day 4 : Halong Bay-Hanoi-Hue
Breakfast/Lunch
Early risers can enjoy the sunrise in Halong Bay. After breakfast there will be more time to explore the 8th wonder of the world. You will pass through Dinh Huong Island and Ga Choi among others. You will also visit Sung Sot cave and before returning back to Halong port you will be served lunch. At around 11:30 am you will be back in Halong and you will then take the bus back to the Vietnamese capital.
You will be back in Hanoi by 17:30pm. If you like, you can join Vo Co Truyen class for the last time in Hanoi.
At a scheduled time, the driver will drive you to the airport for your flight to Hue. Upon your arrival, a driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel.

Day 5 : Getting to know Hue
Breakfast/Lunch
We will pick you up at around 08:00am when we will begin the city tour which will explain the origin of Vietnam. The tour begins with a visit to the Minh Mang and Khai Dinh Tombs, then we will witness the Vietnamese martial art, Van An. Then we will visit the local villages which specialise in making incense and the famous conical hats of Vietnam. The morning journey will end with the visit to the Tomb of Tu Duc.
After lunch, we will visit Hue’s Citadel and the Thien Mu Pagoda. And to add the final touch to this excursion, we will return to Hue for a boat trip on the Perfume River to watch the sunset.

Day 6 : Hue-Hoi An

We will continue touring the country and be on our way to the South of Vietnam. Heading down to Hoi an, first we will stop at the Hai Van Pass, Lang Co Beach and the Marble Mountains.
In the afternoon we will have time to stroll through charming Hoi An. The architecture of Hoi An has no equal, with its low houses and wooden painted facades. Visit the Japanese Bridge, which according to local legend is indestructible. We will visit the Pottery Museum, the amazing Tan Ky house (which was the first monument of historic interest) and the Cantonese temple.
Hoi An is a delightful city where you can travel on your own at ease. Thus, we haven’t included a guided tour, but if you’re interested, you can contact us and we will include one for you.

Day 7 : Hoi An - relax

We leave this day for you to freely explore the city of Hoi An and enjoy this wonderful place at your pace. Apart from its deep history, the town is also famous for its tailors and shoemakers, giving you the chance to do some shopping. Hoi An is a quaint, peaceful town with numerous restaurants and charming corners.
Renting a bicycle is the perfect way to explore the town's cobbled streets before relaxing by the beach in the afternoon.

Day 8 : Hoi An-Ho Chi Minh

Today you will be taking a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where we will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Today is yours to explore the city at your own pace. Of course, we will provide you with all the information you will need about Ho Chi Minh in order to enjoy this free time.

Day 9 : Getting to know Ho Chi Minh
Breakfast/Lunch
Today, the driver will pick you up at 08.30 to begin a tour of Ho Chi Minh City. You will start the city tour in China town, visiting the 150 year old Thien Hau Temple and Binh Tay market, before moving on to the War’s Souvenir Museum.
You will stop at a local restaurant for having lunch before visiting Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office.
You will fisnish your city tour at Ben Thanh market where they can buy (or sell) anything.  
You will be dropped back to your hotel by the end of the afternoon.

Day 10 : Ho Chi Minh-Bali
Breakfast/Lunch
Today you will say goodbye to Vietnam and hello to Bali! At the opportune time, our driver will take you to the airport and you will board a flight to Bali. Once in Bali, our correspondents will drive you to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day free.

Day 11 : Ubud-Kintamani-Ubud
Breakfast
This morning you are going to visit the city of Ubud - the cultural center of Bali. First stop is the Royal Palace Puri Saren, in which the royal family still live. Then you will stop at an important temple in Bali, the Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati. This temple is dedicated to the goddess of art and handicrafts. You will also have the chance to see Baluan, a district with typical Balinese’s houses. In the north of the island, you will see rice terraces and the temple of Tirta Empul, a place devoted to purity of the spirit and of the body. After this, you will take the road to Kintamani and visit the areas coffee plantations. This village is located at 1400m altitude. You will see the big Batur Volcano and finish by at the village of Penglipuran, famous for its architecture.

Day 12 :Ubud-Bedugul-Ubud

After breakfast, you will stroll through the rice fields. From Bedugul Village, you will go to a fruit market. Going by the Bratan Lake, inbetween mountains, you will see the Pura Bratanun temple, one of the most famous in Bali. You will keep going along the Buyans Lake and the Tamblingan Lake - a nice spot to take picture. At the Munduk village, you will stop in a mountain hut for a break and to enjoy the view. To finish the day, you will visit the wonderful temple of Tanah Lot. This temple is by the sea and when the tide comes in, becomes an island.

Day 13 : Ubud-Gili Trawangan

This morning, you will go to the harbor to take a boat to the island of Gili Trawangan (about 2 hours by boat). Once you arrive at your hotel, you will have the rest of the day to enjoy the place as you want ( relaxing on the beach,…)

Day off! You can choose the days activities yourself.

Day 15 :Gili Trawangan-Uluwatu-Seminyak  
Breakfast
After breakfast, you will be transfered to the beach where you will catch a boat to Bali Island. At 12 you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon will be spent visiting several nice beaches (Balangan, Padang Padang,…). You will arrived at Ulu Watu - a wonderful place for surfers. At the end of the afternoon, you will be transferred to Seminyak.

Day 16 Départ de Seminyak-retour à la maison

Today is your last day with us in Bali. Regarding the time of your plane, our driver will drive you to the airport where you will catch your flight home.
