A special trip through the scenic North of Vietnam by motorcycle or private car - from the colourful hill-tribe villages of Sapa, to the historic city of Dien Bien Phu, along one of Vietnam's most beautiful roads. Followed by the Mekong Delta and the other-worldly ruins of Angkor in Cambodia. This tour takes you through some of the most spectacular landscapes in South-east Asia.

Detailed Itinerary:

DAY 1: ARRIVE TO HANOI - NIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI (SAPA)
At your arrival to Hanoi, you will be greeted at the airport by our driver and transferred to your hotel. Everything will depend on the time of your arrival, but you will have time to rest before the overnight train trip to Sapa. At night time, around 20:10, you will be transferred to Hanoi Railway Station, to take the night train that will take you to Sapa.

DAY 2: ARRIVE TO SAPA AND BEGIN THE ADVENTUROUS MOTORBIKE TOUR IN SAPA OR DRIVE AROUND (BY PRIVATE CAR)

Approximately 6:00 am, you will have arrived at the Lao Cai railway station; our correspondent in Sapa will be waiting for you there, and will transfer you to your hotel in Sapa. You will have time to have breakfast and rest for awhile.
Around 8:00 am, our guide will pick you at the hotel to start your adventure with Sapa and the north of Vietnam.
This tour is designed for those who are seeking for something exotic, adventurous and authentic, thus we believe that a private tour is the best option. It is a 4-day tour through the north, ideal for motorcycle enthusiasts and also for people who like to sightseeing, witness and mingle with the richful cultures.
On this first day you will go up to Ham Rong Mt., where you could be witness to the wonderful spectacle of this place. Later you will visit the Cat Cat villages, home of the Black H'mong. You will have the chance to observe the way of living of the ethnic groups, you will be visiting some of their homes and there you will have lunch. Afterward, we will continue this tour staying far away from the busy tourist crowds
In the afternoon / evening you will return back to Sapa.

DAY 3: SAPA–PHONG THO

This day, a trip of three and half hours to Phong Tho by private car/motorcycle awaits you. This route separates you from all the noisiness of the tourist crowds as well as the busy traffic, thus it only takes so long to reach Phong Tho. On the journey, there can be many stops for the photo takings, as well as for coffee rests.
Once you reach Phong Tho, you will visit the surroundings and check into your hotel.

DAY 4: PHONG THO - DIEN BIEN PHU

On the 4th day of the adventure, we will get up early to head towards Dien Bien Phu. It is a trip of approximately 5 hours. The scenery you will observe along your journey is magical. Upon your arrival at Dien Bien Phu, we will take you to your hotel, where you can rest up.

DAY 5: DIEN BIEN PHU - HANOI

Dien Bien Phu marks the key period in the history of Vietnam. After the breakfast, for those who enjoy learning about the history, there you can visit: The history museum, trenches, hills, tunnels ... But for those who want to focus more on exploring the place, we can organize the schedule for such activities, as well.
After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport, where you to take your flight to Hanoi (from 14:50pm arrival in Hanoi at 15:50pm)
Upon your arrival to Hanoi,you will be greeted at the airport and escorted to your hotel.
 
DAY 6: NINH BINH

Going 69 miles south from the Capital, we’ll reach the province of Ninh Binh; the beautiful landscape located next to the ancient capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu from the year 968 to 1050.
In the midst of a magnificent stage stood a citadel from which today stand only two temples that have survived, rebuilt in the seventeenth century. You will visit the Dinh temples. Afterward, we continue the tour and will have a stop at the Van Lam Village to observe how the embroidery workers. We will have lunch, and then it will be the time for the magical journey of Junk boat through the caves of Tam Coc. It is a journey of approximately two and half hours.
Before returning to Hanoi you will also have the chance to visit the Bich Dong Pagoda.

DAY 7: HANOI – HA LONG BAY
(Meal Inc.: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
After breakfast, at approximately 8:00am, the bus will be waiting for you to take you from Hanoi to Halong Bay (4hrs trip). You will get to visit Halong Bay and spend the night in a traditional Junk boat surrounded by the sheer beauty of this magical place.
At around 13.00 h we will embark on a cruise with a warm welcoming. After lunch you will visit a fishing village called Cua Van and you can see how real fishermen and families really live there.  Towards evening time you will have the chance to go and explore Halong Bay by Kayak, enjoy a nice swim and have a 15-minutes foot massage or a cooking demonstration of the Vietnamese cuisine. Today you will also get to visit the Hang Trong cave. Dinner will be served at around 19.00h.

DAY 8: HA LONG - HANOI - HO CHI MINH CITY

Early risers can practice Tai Chi, or just watch the sunrise. Breakfast will be served on a comforting small boat in the middle of Ha Long Bay, where you can continue watching this wonder of the world, while going through different areas of the Bay. There will time for kayaking, swimming ... or just relaxing. Afterward, we will then, head back to Junk for lunch, and say goodbye to the Bay. After reaching the port and you will the bus back to Hanoi. You'll most likely be back in town at 16:30 h. From Hanoi you will be taking a flight to Ho Chi Minh at 20:00.

DAY 9: HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA - CAI BE VINH LONG

From Ho Chi Minh at 6:00 am we move on to Cai Be where you will make a stop at the village of Tan An, Cai Be and you can see the locals doing business on the floating market. Afterward we will continue the journey to Vinh Long. On your way toBinhHoaPhuocyou will have the opportunity to observe a small local family business (making coconut candies ...) and there you will have your lunch ready. You will then get to keep discovering the Mekong Delta to get to go to Chau Doc

DAY 10: CHAU DOC - PHNOM PENH

After breakfast we will leave by fast boat to Phnom Penh. (7:30-12:30)
We leave the Bassac River to enter the Mekong. Upon entering the Mekong, you will feel it becoming one with the sea.
After having your Visa done at the border, the journey will take about five hours including customs clearance before your arrival in Phnom Penh. Once there it is advisableto take a local form of transport or “tuktuk” to travel to your hotel as it is a very entertaining form of transportation, but do not forget to bargain about its price a bit.
After years of violence and terror, Phnom Penh is a city that is reinventing itself. Many parts of the city are testimony to its French colonial past while the area of the river is a symbol of their future.
On “tuk-tuk” you can visit the most interesting parts of Phnom Penh. You have all the necessary documentation and information on Phnom Penh provided so you can explore the city by yourself

DAY 11: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP

Today day you will take a flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap.
We will have you transferred to the Phnom Penh airport and upon your arrival in Siem Reap, we will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. After checking in at the hotel and having lunch, we begin our trip to the Angkor temples.
As the first of our stops, we will take you to the majestic temple of Angkor Wat, billed as the largest religious monument in the world and national symbol of Cambodia (his silhouette is part of the flag). Then a visit to the Pre Rup Temple, from there, we will watch the sunset.

DAY 12: VISIT OF THE ANGKOR TEMPLES

After breakfast, we will pick you up at the hotel to begin the second day of Temple visiting. To avoid the peak hours that will be overcrowded with tourists, we start our journey visiting the Ta Prohm Temple, also known as the Temple of the jungle, and which was popularized by being part of the scenes of the movie Tomb Raider. Then we will go to the Angkor Thom complex, accessing it through the Victory Gate. This set contains, among others, the temples of Bayon and Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. A lunchtime return to the city, and after a short break we return to our trip by heading out to visit the Banteay Srey and the Banteay Samre, which is located about 30 miles north. On our way of returning to the city, we can enjoy the sight and life of the Cambodian countryside, dotted with beautiful rice fields, traditional houses and farm animals.

DAY 13: SIEM REAP - FLIGHT TO HANOI INTERNATIONAL-FLIGHT BACK HOME

Today, you will take your flight from Cambodia to Hanoi. After arriving to Hanoi, you will then have the day free at your disposal, and then take a flight back to your designated country.
