Join us on our 19 day trip to two very special yet very different countries. During the first ten days of your trip you will travel Vietnam from North to South, delving deep into the history of this magnificent country. Then, for the second part of your trip, we will take you on an adventure through Myanmar, as you discover the world between India and Indo-Chinese. Be witness to how Myanmar, throughout time, has managed to retain its original genius, resisting influence from the modern world. Have a good trip!
DETAILLED ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI
Breakfast
Welcome to Vietnam!
Upon your arrival in Noi Bai airport, our driver will be waiting to welcome you and take you to the hotel where you are going to be staying. Around noon, your guide will pick you up to go to restaurant for having lunch before visiting the capital. After lunch, the driver will take you to the Ho Chi Minh complex. You start your visit with presidential palace and the President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house. The next place is one Pillar pagoda which is a group of structure consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar pagoda for the temple of literature-the first college of Vietnam dedicated to Confucian. You will continue your visit with Hoan Kiem lake (Restored Sword Lake), Ngoc Son Temple and a xiclo ride around the heart of Hanoi: the old quarter, filled with street shops, narrow streets and motorcycles, a tour that will show you the more picturesque Hanoi.

DAY 2: HA NOI-HA LONG

This adventure will reveal to you the recently declared as the eighth wonder of the world, Halong Bay. After your breakfast at your hotel, and the Junk boat guide will pick you up in your hotel. You will take a 4 hours bus ride that will take you to Halong Bay, with your guide. Once there you will arrive to our Junk boat. It will be near lunchtime, after a brief wait haft hour you will be enjoying your lunch surrounded by pure beauty of Halong Bay. In the afternoon, you will be visiting Sung Sot cave. You will also get to pass by different islands such as Tuan Chau, Dog Island and Sail Island. You will also get to observe some of the fishing villages along the bay. For those who fancy kayaking, all you have to do is ask! It is a fantastic option when visiting Halong Bay.
Dinner will be served at around 8pm in a stunning setting.

DAY 3: HA LONG-HA NOI-FLIGHT TO HUE
Breakfast/Lunch
Early morning you can enjoy the sunrise in Halong Bay. After breakfast there will be time to visit the 8th wonder of the world. You will pass through Dinh Huong Island and Ga Choi among others. You will also visit the Surprise cave too, and before returning to Halong port you will be having a buffet for lunch. Approximately 11:30am, you will be back in Halong and you will then take the bus back to Hanoi. You will arrive to Hanoi at 16.30pm and then be transferred to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Hue. Our driver will be waiting for you at Hue airport to take you to your hotel. We can give you some excellent recommendations for where to have dinner.

DAY 4: HUE VISIT

The picturesque and hilly Hue has a special place in the history of Vietnam. Selected capital of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), Hue takes us back to the old, the origin Vietnam. A place that has been keeping hundred years of architectural works including palaces and royal tombs of the Nguyen dynasty.
We will pick you up at your hotel around 7:30 am. We will begin with a visit to the tombs of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. On this tour we've also included a visit to see and appreciate the Van An, a Vietnamese martial art. We pass through a small village where they specialized in the development of classic items like conical hats and incense made.
After our visit to the tomb of Tu Duc, a buffet lunch will be ready at your disposal. And after you have rested, the bus will take you to the Citadel. You will visit the Citadel of Hue, a World Cultural Heritage. It was built on the banks of the Perfume River, Western style combining so great with the citadel oriental architecture. It consists of three campuses: the defensive citadel, the Imperial Citadel and the Purple Forbidden City. You will visit Thien Mu pagoda, and to complete the tour of Hue awaits a boat ride on the Perfume River. At 5:00pm we begin to transfer you back to your hotel.

DAY 5: HUE-HOI AN

We will continue touring the country and be on our way to the South Vietnam, heading down to Hoi an. On the way we stop at My Son temple and Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son in Vietnamese). Placed to 12km of Da Nang and 20 km of Hoi An, Marble mountains consist of five hills limestone. You arrive to Hoi An, the driver will take you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to enjoy your staying and discover Hoi An ancient town.

DAY 6: HOI AN-DA NANG-FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY
Breakfast
Today you will be taking a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where we will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. You will enjoy a free day in Ho Chi Minh; of course, there will be all the information about Ho Chi Minh that we will have sent to you so you can enjoy your free day as much as possible.

DAY 7: VISITING HO CHI MINH CITY
Breakfast/Lunch
Today, you will visit Ho Chi Minh city. The city group tour starts at 9. You will visit firstly
China town, Thien Hau temple-a 150 years old Chinese temple. Then you continue your city tour with Binh Tay market. You will also visit the museum of war’s souvenirs. You will stop in a local restaurant for having lunch. After lunch, you will visit the reunification palace, the Notre-Dame cathedral, ancient central poste and the famous XQ shop. The end of afternoon, if you want, we can pass by Ben Thanh market where you can buy some souvenirs.

DAY 8: HO CHI MINH CITY-MY THO-BEN TRE-CAN THO
Breakfast/lunch/dinner
Today we visit the Mekong Delta. From Ho Chi Minh awaits a journey of around two hours and a half to get to My Tho. There you will take a boat that will take you through the canals of the Mekong Delta. You will visit the fruit market in My Tho and Turtle Island. Lunch will be served in a quiet place in the Mekong Delta, surrounded by greenery and gardens. In Ben Tre you will also have a boat tour, get the chance to visit local families to get an idea of their daily lives, and after seeing Thoi Son we then head back to My Tho by boat to visit Can Tho.

DAY 9: CAN THO-HO CHI MINH CITY
Breakfast/Lunch
You will need to wake up early to see the Delta markets. There will be two floating markets waiting for you, the Phong Dien and Cai Rang. You will also get to visit coconut candy and rice noodle sellers. You will also get to see how they make these products. We return to Ho Chi Minh to spend the night in the city.

DAY 10: HO CHI MINH CITY-FLIGHT TO YANGON (MYANMAR)
Breakfast/Lunch
This morning, after breakfast, the driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon your arrival in Yangon airport, the driver will be waiting for you and take you to your hotel. You leave your luggage at hotel then you can start your city tour. Today, you will first visit colonial quarter, then you would observe the differences architectures of Sule pagoda, Botataung pagoda and Shwedagon pagoda.

DAY 11 : FLIGHT TO BAGAN-BAGAN VISIT
Breakfast/Lunch
Morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel before go to the airport for the flight to Bagan. You’re your arrival, transfer & check in at the hotel. You will visit colorful local market, Shwezigon Pagoda - the glory of Bagan, Htilominlo Temple - the best pilaster carving, Nathtaukkyaung Monastery - monastery made of teak wood, Ananda Temple - the masterpiece of Bagan, the Gubyaukgyi Temple - the best mural paintings of 11th century, Manuha Temple, Dhamayangyi Temple - the biggest temple in Bagan, Sulamani Temple - the 12th century temple, lacquerware workshop - the unique of Bagan, etc. Finally, take the boat ride on mighty Ayeyarwaddy river during the sunset time.

DAY 12 : BAGAN VISIT

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit Lawkananda pagoda, which has the fascinating river view, Payathonezu temples with mural paintings, Nagayon Temple of 11th century, Apyeyadanar Temple with mural paintings, etc. In the late afternoon, visit Minanathu village to observe the life of people. Finally, we may take the boat ride on the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River during the sunset time.

DAY 13 : BAGAN-MANDALAY
Breakfast/Lunch
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Arrive to Mandalay and drive to Amarapura (01:00 hour), an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory. And then proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hil. Drive to Mandalay and visit Mahamuni Buddha Image - one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar. Continue visiting of traditional handicraft workshops such as, marble carving, gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery - the finest of wood carving, etc. Finally enjoy the sunset on the top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. Come back to hotel and leisure.

DAY 14: MANDALAY-HEHO
Breakfast/Lunch
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho. Drive to Pindaya and enjoy the marvelous landscapes of hilly region with vegetables plantation, terrace landing cultivation, etc. Visit the Pindaya Caves - houses 8094 Buddha Images, umbrella workshop, which is made of pulp. Proceed to Kalaw and check in at the hotel.

DAY 15: TREKKING TO INLE
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
At About 0830, starting the trekking to Myin Taik Village. Kalaw is also pleasantly cool and a good place for hiking amid gnarled pines, bamboo groves and rugged mountain scenery. The authentic hill tribes such as Pao & Palaung can be seen along the trekking.
After walking 2h30, we’ll reach Ywa Thit village (Palaung village). Then proceed to 45 minuites trek, we can enjoy the lunch at View point.
After lunch, you will trek about 1 hr. To Hin Khar Kone and next 1½ hours to Myin Taik village where we overnight in the village house.
We’ll arrange simple accommodation likes blanket, pillow, small mattress and placing at salon (hall type).

DAY 16: TREKKING AND ARRIVE TO INLE
Breakfast/Lunch
After breakfast start the trek back to In Kong village and Thit Hla village about 1h30 and 1 hour respectively. Then continue to walk for 1 hour to Myin Taik Rail way station where one can observe the daily life of local people when you meet the train at the station.
Proceed to trek back to Kalaw for 2h30 and then Drive to Inle. On arrival transfer to Hotel and free.

DAY 17: VISITING INLE
Breakfast/Lunch
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion on the lake. Visit Inn Dein pagodas in ruins covered by trees and bushes, floating gardens, floating villages, Lotus-petal robe & silk weaving looms at Inn Paw Khone village, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda - the most venerable pagoda on the lake, jumping cats’ monastery, etc.

DAY 18: INLE-FLIGHT TO YANGON
Breakfast/Lunch
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Visit Bogyoke market [except on Monday] & china town.
Overnight in Yangon
DAY 19: BACK HOME
Breakfast
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Free until transfer to Yangon International Airport for the departure flight.
