This trip is tailor made for those who want to visit the important cultural sites of both Vietnam and Thailand, whilst leaving enough time to kick back and relax on an empty stretch of sand. From Hanoi to Bangkok, passing by Ho Chi Minh City and Chiang Rai, our 21 day tour will give you the opportunity to discover these two fantastic countries and their differing cultures.

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI
Breakfast
Welcome to Vietnam!
Upon your arrival in Noi Bai airport, our driver will be waiting to welcome you and take you to the hotel where you are going to be staying. Around noon, your guide will pick you up to go to restaurant for having lunch before visiting the capital. After lunch, the driver will take you to Ho Chi Minh complex. You will start your visit with presidential palace, President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house. The next place is one Pillar pagoda which is a group of structure consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar pagoda for the temple of literature-the first college of Vietnam dedicated to Confucius. You will continue your visit with Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake), Ngoc Son Temple and a xiclo ride around the heart of Hanoi: the old quarter, filled with street shops, narrow streets and motorcycles, a tour that will show you the more picturesque Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI-HA LONG BAY
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
This adventure will reveal to you the recently declared as the eighth wonder of the world, Halong Bay. After your breakfast at your hotel, and the Junk boat guide will pick you up in your hotel. You will take a 4 hours bus ride that will take you to Halong Bay, with your guide. Once there you will arrive to our Junk boat. It will be near lunchtime, after a brief wait haft hour you will be enjoying your lunch surrounded by pure beauty of Halong Bay. In the afternoon, you will be visiting Sung Sot cave. You will also get to pass by different islands such as Tuan Chau, Dog Island and Sail Island. You will also get to observe some of the fishing villages along the bay. For those who fancy kayaking, all you have to do is ask! It is a fantastic option when visiting Halong Bay.
Dinner will be served at around 7pm in a stunning setting.

DAY 3: HA LONG-HA NOI-FLIGHT TO HUE
Breakfast/Lunch
Early morning you can enjoy the sunrise in Halong Bay. After breakfast there will be time to visit the 8th wonder of the world. You will pass through Dinh Huong Island and Ga Choi among others. You will also visit the Surprise cave too, and before returning to Halong port you will be having a buffet for lunch. Approximately 11:30am, you will be back in Halong and you will then take the bus back to Hanoi. You will arrive to Hanoi at 16.30pm and then be transferred to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Hue. Our driver will be waiting for you at Hue airport to take you to your hotel. We can give you some excellent recommendations for where to have dinner.

DAY 4: GETTING TO KNOW HUE
Breakfast/Lunch
The picturesque and hilly Hue has a special place in the history of Vietnam. Selected capital of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945), Hue takes us back to the old, the origin Vietnam. A place that has been keeping hundred years of architectural works including palaces and royal tombs of the Nguyen dynasty. We will pick you up at your hotel around 7:30 am. We will begin with a visit to the tombs of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. On this tour we've also included a visit to see and appreciate the Van An, a Vietnamese martial art. We pass through a small village where they specialized in the development of classic items like conical hats and incense made. After our visit to the tomb of Tu Duc, a buffet lunch will be ready at your disposal. And after you have rested, the bus will take you to the Citadel. You will visit the Citadel of Hue, a World Cultural Heritage. It was built on the banks of the Perfume River, Western style combining so great with the citadel oriental architecture. It consists of three campuses: the defensive citadel, the Imperial Citadel and the Purple Forbidden City. You will visit Thien Mu pagoda, and to complete the tour of Hue awaits a boat ride on the Perfume River. At 5:00pm we begin to transfer you back to your hotel.

DAY 5: HUE-HOI AN
Breakfast/Lunch
We will continue touring the country and be on our way to the South Vietnam, heading down to Hoi an. On the way we stop at My Son temple and Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son in Vietnamese). Located to 12km of Da Nang and 20 km of Hoi An, Marble mountains consist of five hills limestone. You arrive to Hoi An, the driver will take you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to enjoy your staying and discover Hoi An ancient town.

DAY 6: HOI AN-DA NANG-FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY
Breakfast
Today you will be taking a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where we will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to your hotel. You will enjoy a free day in Ho Chi Minh. We remain at your disposal for any information you may need.

DAY 7: VISITING HO CHI MINH CITY
Breakfast/Lunch
Today, you will visit Ho Chi Minh City. The city group tour starts at 9. You will visit firstly China town, Thien Hau temple-a 150 years old Chinese temple. Then you continue your city tour with Binh Tay market. You will also visit the museum of the war remains. You will stop in a local restaurant for the lunch break. After lunch, you will visit the reunification palace, the Notre-Dame cathedral, ancient postal center and the famous XQ shop. In the end of afternoon, if you want, we can pass by Ben Thanh market where you can buy some souvenirs.

DAY 8: HO CHI MINH-CAI BE-VINH LONG-HO CHI MINH
Breakfast/Lunch
Today we visit the Mekong Delta. From Ho Chi Minh it’s a journey of around two hours and a half to get to Vinh Long. Then, you will take a boat that will take you through the canals of the Mekong Delta. You will visit the fruit market of Cai Be. Have lunch in a quiet place in the Mekong Delta, surrounded by greenery and gardens. In Cai Be and Vinh Long around will also make a boat tour, visit local families to get an idea of their day to day lives and after seeing Thoi Son head back to My Tho by boat to retake the route back to Ho Chi Minh. Around 15:00 there will be a car or bus to take you back to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 9: HO CHI MINH-FLIGHT TO BANGKOK (THAILAND)

This morning, after breakfast, the driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. Upon your arrival in Bangkok airport, the driver will be waiting for you and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day, you will have free time to enjoy your staying.

DAY 10: VISITING BANGKOK
Breakfast/Lunch
In the morning, we will have a city tour, passing through the Chinatown, the flower market, learn about the Wat Pho temple, famous for its gigantic reclining Buddha sculpture (46m), then we will visit the Royal Palace, one of the most important monuments in Thailand and lastly, we will have lunch in the restaurant of the Baiyoke tower, the highest tower of Thailand where you can have a panoramic view of Bangkok. Free afternoon. Return to the hotel.

DAY 11 : VISITING BANGKOK
Breakfast/Lunch
We leave for the floating market, 80 kilometers from Bangkok, an emblematic place, reminiscent of the old Bangkok. On the way we will get to know the curious Train Market. Later we will also visit the crocodile farm where we can closely observe hundreds of these animals and enjoy a risky show. We will have lunch and then return to Bangkok. Free afternoon.

DAY 12: BANGKOK - AYUTTHAYA
Breakfast/Lunch
Pick up from the hotel and leave to the North of the country. Arrive to Kanchanaburi, and visit the museum of the Railway of Death and aboard a small boat, contemplate a magnificent panorama of the bridge over the River Kwai. Lunch in a restaurant near the temple. Enjoy the fresh nature in the Erawan National Park. Then transfer to Ayutthaya to admire a beautiful sunset at the temple Wat Chai Wattanaram.

DAY 13 : AYUTTHAYA-SUKHOTAI
Breakfast/Lunch
In the morning we will visit the War Mahatha, where the famous Buddha head inside the tree is located. Afterward, we will transfer to the sanctuary of the monkeys in the middle of the Lopburi city. After lunch, we will continue to head for Sukhotai to visit the historic park of the city on bicycle. Then we will be visiting the Sri Chum temple where it’s located the largest image of Buddha in Sukhothai, 15 meters tall. We will enjoy the visit to the temples with their tranquility, their beauty which offers this emblematic part of the city.

DAY 14 : SUKHOTAI-CHIANG RAI
Breakfast/Lunch
Leave toward the city of Chiang Rai, on route we will stop in Lampang to enjoy an pleasant stroll on a horse-drawn carriage, visiting the Phayao Lake. We will have lunch on route and transfer to the north of Thailand. Upon arrival, there will be free time for you to visit the nocturnal market of Chiang Rai.

DAY 15 : VISITING CHIANG RAI
Breakfast/Lunch
Leave toward the highland to meet the Akha, an ethnic which is still living like their ancestors. The Golden Triangle called by that name for its confluence in the zone of the three countries: Thailand, Burma and Laos, one of the most beautiful landscapes in Southeast Asia. We will visit the opium museum, and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the frontier of Burma where will get on a Tuk Tuk and leave to visit the Chinese temple, a local food market and a famous market of opportunity in the frontier of Burma, where we can acquire from bags, clothing to mobile phones with splendid prices. Transfer to hotel and free time.

DAY 16: CHIANG RAI-CHIANG MAI
Breakfast/Lunch
Leave for Chiang Mai, the capital cultural and religious of the North across a dreamlike landscape. We will stop at the White Temple. We will then visit Chiang Mai to visit its popular street full of handicrafts. Lunch, then we will climb up to the temple of the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Mountain with its precious views of Chiang Mai. Return to the hotel and free time to visit its night market.

DAY 17: VISITING CHIANG MAI
Breakfast/Lunch
In the morning, we will be transferred to the Elephants Camp. After a spectacle, safari around the jungle on top of the elephants and descent by bamboo rafts through the river Mae Ping, we will visit the orchid farm, learn about these exotic flowers. Lunch and in the afternoon, we will visit the giraffe women and other tribes which still continue living with their intact traditions. Transfer to the hotel.

Note: if the water level is too low or too high, we will not realize the bamboo rafts around the Mae Ping River.

DAY 18: CHIANG MAI-KOH SAMUI
Breakfast
At the convenient time, we will transfer to the airport to catch your flight to the beach (Koh Samui Island). Upon your arrival, the driver will take you to your hotel.
Free time to enjoy the island as you want. We will give you all the information you might need to enjoy this island as it deserved. Koh Samui is famous for its incredible sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and stunning natural beauty. Situated 35km from the town of Surat Thani, the island itself measures approximately 25km at the widest point and covers a total area of about 230 square kilometers. The island is actually surrounded by more than 60 other islands that make up the Ang Thong Marine National Park, also known as the Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park. Some of the islands that are part of the Marine National Park are uninhabited and others, which are close to Koh Samui, are also popular tourist destinations, most notably Koh Tao and Koh Pha Ngan.
